The Republic of Santa Claus is located northeast from the Lapland's biggest city, the city of Rovaniemi, which has been, by the way, know as Santa's official hometown. It is far north in the middle of the wilderness, where we can feel the cleanest air and taste the clear water straight from the lake. At night, we can see the sky full of stars and the magical performance of the northern lights. The Republic of Santa Claus is a huge area, encompassing about 7.750 hectares, (19.150 acres).
